When families transition into shelters, the focus is strictly on survival—canned goods, basic hygiene, and used clothing. While essential, survival is not the same as healing.
Our event at Lotus House is designed to provide women and their children with an experience of trauma-informed wellness, self-care pampering, and nervous system regulation.
We believe that survivors of domestic violence deserve to feel beautiful, calm, and safe. We are replacing the narrative of 'bare necessities' with one of high-quality care.
